Select Advocacy Efforts in 2025
Hearing loss advocacy continued strongly in 2025, with 14 speaking engagements, including my first at an overseas audiology conference. I continued to write articles for a variety of publications, including this blog, and consulted with several companies to help make their products and venues more hearing-loss-friendly.
I continued as a regular host of This Week in Hearing, a video podcast produced by Hearing Health & Technology Matters, and filmed the most-viewed episode in the podcast’s history. Watch it here. It’s been fun to connect with other hearing loss advocates and to learn from so many in the industry.
Hear & Beyond: Live Skillfully with Hearing Loss continues to reach new audiences! In 2026, its formula for skillful living with hearing loss inspired educational trainings for corporations, audiologist groups, teachers, caregivers, and students. Grab your copy on Amazon here. If you liked the book, please write a review on Amazon or on your favorite book review site. Reviews help others find the book, too.
